The Wylie Classic
It’s starting to go off. |
will ensure they have a good cross section of pilots in their team. 2008 was a classic year for the Classic with numerous 10,000 ft days, great flying and a bag of PBs. In 2009 the Classic will be organized by the Goldfields Dust Devils Hang Gliding Club ( www.dustdevils.itaustralia.org ).
Join in and make 2009 another classic year.
The Wylie Classic is the Western Australian State Titles. It is a towing competition and is open to all hang glider and paraglider pilots who are members of the HGFA. Your entry fee of only $120 includes a 2009 competition t-shirt and the presentation dinner.

Accommodation
Allan from the Wyalkatchem Hotel is offering discount accomodation to competitors. A good idea to book early, especially if you want a motel style room over the weekends. Other alternatives include the council camping ground (caravan park). In the past teams have rented a house in town which has proved very economical. The budget concious pilot is welcome to stay at Shauns school (Liteflight) at the Enviro center. All options are very reasonably priced.
Unfortunately the Barracks will not be available for our use in 2009.
