The Goldfields Dust Devils Club was formed in April 2001 by a small group of Hang Gliding and Para Gliding enthusiasts in Kalgoorlie. The main aim of the club is to promote the sport of hang gliding and paragliding in the Goldfields region. Numerous clubs for hang gliding and paragliding exist in WA, mainly in Perth. This is fine if you like traveling to Perth every weekend for some flying, but why go to Perth? The Goldfields region has a lot to offer with great thermalling weather almost all year round, and with Esperance “just down the road” for fantastic ridge soaring. So, if you want some excitement and like the idea of literally flying free as a bird, give us a call! Anyone’s welcome.
